This silence made everything seem tense, it just wasn’t normal. I glanced around then slowly, stepped outside. As if any sudden movement would mean my death. Of course, it wasn’t a life or death situation, it was just quiet ..right? I was at the door to my lounge now, my hands shook and I quietly opened it. Everything was dark and still that incessant silence rung through the place, maybe I’ve become deaf? The very thought made me almost laugh. Still it was very ,very quiet . As I dumbly walked through the lounge and made my way to the kitchen I felt a shiver up my spine, I hate my kitchen. Especially at night. I flicked the l
